Have been enjoying a couple of songs over the last few weekends...Sarveshwari (Ashita Limaye) - its such a beautiful song - singing the praise of the different qualities of the Mother Divine. Yesterday was reading about Shakti - energy that is given the embodiment of the female form - the womb of creation since it is the seed of all creation. Without shakti - shiva would be shava (static)....so beautiful - all the symbolism of Vedantic literature comes to the forefront...
Another song have been enjoying is Main Hoon Manzil (Bhanu Didi) - so simple...beautiful...the song is long but it feels like you are on a journey...your soul's journey...very poetic.
Ordering some new books on yoga today...looking forward to reading them.
